Happy Thursday!
Here are the highlights
I asked the universe how to stop feeling bad about being too much for people and she delivered in the form of this piece by
Valorant dropped a new skin bundle, and they’re clearly on their sailor moon shit (I may or may not have coughed up $100 for the bundle—worth every penny though)
Speaking of anime, Megan Thee Stallion dropped her new record last week. Otaku Hot Girl and Accent both made me feel so seen
There’s been an uptick in first responders coming to my block and yet none of my neighbors are gossipy enough to post about why on NextDoor. It’s hard out here for a nosy bitch.
When I first started taking edibles, I veered pretty far away from the canned beverages despite really enjoying other THC-infused drinks. I’m not quite sure what my reasoning was, I guess I just didn’t want to commit to the full thing if they ended up carrying the bitter, post-edibles aftertaste I hate so much. Nevertheless, I finally tried some the other day before a hike.
The Product
Keef Cola’s canned drinks come in many flavors (my two favorites being the blue raspberry, which is pictured, and the grape) and carry 10mg of THC per can. At a little over $6 per drink, the price feels a bit steep right out the gate for how low the THC levels are.
The Process
I picked up a can while on a trip to the dispensary with my mom last time she was in town (she loves stocking up on edibles whenever she visits to help with pain and sleep) and figured I would try it before the hike. It took about 30 minutes to start hitting, and the high lasted a little under 3 hours total (with the peak coming just after the 1-hour mark).
The Thoughts
I was surprised and impressed with how well this hit for only carrying 10mg of THC, considering how high my edible tolerance has gotten. It got me lightly toasted, which usually takes twice that amount, without sending me over the edge, which is ideal considering I was hiking with my parents. I also noticed that my stamina was a bit higher than usual, and my post-hike soreness wasn’t too disruptive—for 1200 feet of elevation gain, and myself being a bit rusty and out of shape, that’s the impact of the drink I’m most grateful for.
The Rating
Keef Cola gets a solid 4.5 stars from me. The price is just a bit much, but I can see myself packing a few of these into a cooler for lake days this summer.
As always, all opinions are my own, and I have no affiliation with any brands, dispensaries, or growers at this time.
Thanks for reading!! See y’all Saturday :3
