I was at the dispensary with my parents last time they came up to visit (my mom has her med card back home, she just prefers shopping out here) and saw that Wyld had put out some 1:1:1 gummies featuring CBC instead of CBD. Curious, and generally content with Wyld’s other products, I figured I’d give it a test.
The Product
The pack I picked up was a 1:1:1 ratio of THC:CBC:CBG, and grapefruit flavored. It comes in the standard 10-pack with 10mg of each cannabinoid per gummy. The gummies are dusted in a sugar coating as well, presumably to level out the taste of distillate.
The Process
I took 4 gummies before going to my third showing of Challengers (I am so normal about that movie). It took about an hour to start hitting, and the high peaked on my walk back home from the theater, so a little over two and a half hours in. They fully wore off a little over four hours in.
The Thoughts
I have never been the biggest fan of distillate edibles. Every time the topic comes up on here you see me pointing out how much I hate the bitter aftertaste they come with. Even when I’m making edibles at home I usually use rosin.
That said, for being distillate gummies these did the job. Yes, they’re a little bitter, and part of me thinks the grapefruit flavor was a decision to lean into it rather than try to cover it, which I can respect. The high was pleasant and lasted a solid amount of time. The comedown, however, was abysmal. There was no way to stave off how awful the comedown was, consuming more cannabis just made it worse, and I had to wait for them to fully leave my system to do anything about the lethargy and irritability.
The Rating
These have earned a tentative 3 stars from me. They’re good, don’t get me wrong. I’m just waiting for them to be great.
As always, all opinions are my own, and I have no affiliation with any brands, dispensaries, or growers at this time.
