Strain Review: GDL Pink Froot

now, onto the content
I have debilitating PTSD. It’s not something I talk about on here as much as the autism, but it’s been an ongoing issue and is one of the many reasons I’m a medical user. Even with that said, it still isn’t the primary thing I use cannabis to treat, so it’s always a very welcome surprise when I find a strain that does treat it.
The Product
Green Dot Labs loves playing with color, and Pink Froot is no exception. She looks mostly green on the outside, but there’s a damn near 1:1 green:purple ratio when she’s ground. She tastes exactly like the specific Monster energy flavor pictured below, and is the child of Soul Cleanser (reviewed here) and Point Break.
The Process
I wanted to do her justice, so I was extra sure to set her aside after blind-buying a whole quarter for the next morning when my palette was reset. With fresh bong water and a clean bowl, I was ready to go.
The Thoughts
Like I mentioned before, I wasn’t going out of my way to find something for my PTSD, but I was teetering on the edge of a PTSD spiral when I did smoke the first bowl and she snapped me back to reality just about instantly. Fully regulated and calm without being tired. I was set to clean my kitchen but there wasn’t a single thought lingering in my brain. I felt peace for the first time in days.
The Rating
Five stars. The flavor, the color, the effects, everything. I have 0 complaints (especially since I got such a good deal, usually GDL is mad pricy).
