How to consume cannabis in a way that sets you up for success

I’m a firm believer in every method of cannabis consumption having its uses and merits, and I’m still dying on that hill. If you want a little guidance on which methods I find more helpful for which issues, you’ve come to the right place.
Acute Autistic Meltdown
Dabs vs Flower
Dabs, specifically really fucking hot dabs, are going to hit a lot faster and harder than flower ever could. Time is of the essence when you’re actively melting down, and the strength and rapid effect of your cannabis can make or break whether you can function the rest of the day.
Menstrual Cramps
Edibles vs Dabs
Trick question! It’s dabs again! Estrogen has an inverse relationship with cannabis tolerance, so higher estrogen levels=lower tolerance and vice versa. Most AFAB people’s estrogen levels are at their lowest during menstruation, causing tolerance to skyrocket. If you’re not trying to take over 300mg just for a crumb of relief, leave the edibles for after and opt for, again, a nice hot dab.
Headache
Flower vs Edibles
While some strains of flower can work, edibles will be a better bet, as coughing from smoking flower can and will worsen your headache.
Mild-Moderate Overstimulation

Honestly, this one is kind of a both-is-best scenario, but if I had to choose one it would be edibles. The longer-term high can help stave off worsening overstimulation better than having to constantly smoke more flower.
Pre-Workout

Another close call where I’d ideally do both, but if I had to choose one dabs would come out on top. I only hit PRs after ripping a massive dab right before working out.
Focus
Dab vs Flower
My answer might shock people, and is 100000% informed by the fact that I can take microdabs from my e-rig, but I have to say I prefer dabs for helping with focus. A tiny grain-of-rice sized bit of something citrus on a low temperature and I can accomplish anything.
Acute Bronchitis

This is a no-brainer and if y’all guessed flower I need you to take a long look in the mirror and ask yourself how high of a priority your well-being truly is. If you have bronchitis and can stick to edibles, please stick to edibles till your lungs are normal again. This shouldn’t need saying.
Social Smoking

Personally, I think flower lends itself to the energy of a group sesh much better than concentrate. Even when I’m at cannabis-centered events, people who mostly smoke hash are still happily rolling up flower.
